For the final time in its seven year history, the Antares 200 series rocket will take to the skies over the east coast of the United States. It will lift off from the MARS (Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport) Launch Pad 0A (LP-0A). As the spacecraft, a Cygnus cargo vehicle built by Northrop Grumman, is making a rendezvous with the International Space Station (ISS), the launch window is only five minutes. Set for 00:31:11 UTC on August 2 (20:31:11 PM Eastern Time on August 1), if this window is missed, the launch will be called off for the day.
