Virgin Orbit has closed their doors during what is called an “operational pause”. Months ago, I reported that, considering their cash flow issues, Virgin Orbit could not afford an anomaly during the “Start Me Up” mission. Sadly, it appears that I was right.
So what does this mean for Spaceport Cornwall? And what about fledgling spaceports in Australia, Brazil and Japan??
