Russia previously revealed documents discovered by its soldiers in Ukrainian biolaboratories captured during the special military operation. Now, sources reveal that the US is moving unfinished bio-weapon programs from Ukraine to Europe.

US Moving Unfinished Bio-Weapon Programs From Ukraine To Europe

Russia earlier revealed evidence of multiple bio laboratories in Ukraine, which were purportedly working on pathogens that might be used in the manufacturing of illegal biological weapons. Moscow also discovered records proving that the United States, specifically the Pentagon, sponsored this research.

The Pentagon intends to relocate incomplete biological weapons development programs from Ukraine to other nations in the former Soviet bloc and Eastern Europe, according to Russia’s Defense Ministry during its regular press briefing.

The ministry stated that it has proof that tissue samples and harmful pathogens are being transferred from Ukraine to other countries, warning that the process endangers the health of those areas. The Defense Ministry also stated that it intends to show evidence that the US and Ukraine are breaching the international convention against the use of bioweapons in Geneva next week.

“Right now, we are seeing several publications in the foreign press with a nervous reaction from Washington to the release of extremely sensitive documents by the [Russian] Defense Ministry. Journalists note that the American intelligence services are taking unprecedented steps to prevent Russia from having access to potential witnesses close to the implementation of the classified military biological projects of the Pentagon in Ukraine,” the Defense Ministry said.

The Russian Defense Ministry highlighted out that instead of focusing on pathogens that cause measles, rubella, tuberculosis, or AIDS, the Pentagon invested in research on cholera, tularemia, plague, and hantaviruses. The Russian military believes the US was engaged in this study because these viruses are endemic to Russia and any outbreak triggered by the deployment of biological weapons might be mistaken for naturally occurring.

The ministry also said during the press conference that it was made aware of Kiev’s request for the Turkish Bayraktar drone maker to outfit some of the UAVs with aerosol spray systems capable of holding and dispersing up to 20 liters of substance. The request was submitted on December 15, 2021, ahead of the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, according to the ministry, which cited Kiev’s efforts to prepare for the use of biological weapons against Russia.

“With a UAV flight range of up to 300 km and their equipment of containers with biological [weapons], it created a real threat of large-scale use of biological weapons in Russian territory,” Chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces Igor Kirillov said.

Kirillov went on to say that a patent for a drone capable of disseminating insects infested with hazardous pathogens had been registered in the United States, indicating that such a device had already been created and was in use. He emphasized that the patent’s description states that the device can be used to kill or incapacitate enemy troops while posing no harm to the US military.

Russia previously revealed documents discovered by its soldiers in Ukrainian biolaboratories captured during the special military operation. According to the records, Ukraine obtained US funds to research many sorts of dangerous pathogens. Moscow alleged that Kiev may utilize this research to produce biological weapons to use against Russia. Washington denies sponsoring biological weapons research, which is prohibited by international treaties.
