‘Extraterrestrial’ fragments recovered from the Pacific Ocean floor could have come from an alien planet outside our solar system, an astronomer has claimed.

Planetary scientist Humberto Campins said he agreed with the sensational claims by controversial Harvard physicist Professor Avi Loeb that ‘alien’ material from interstellar space has been found on Earth for the first time ever.

‘I think this was a meteorite that came from outside the solar system.’

A huge row has erupted among the scientific community over Professor Loeb’s discovery, with some experts lending support to the research and others disputing it.
